Meet Cara.

We're excited to introduce Cara, OXB's Production Manager and all-around team rockstar.

Based in Denver, Cara oversees production of the OXB jewelry you know and love. Outside of OXB, she's a cycling class fan - both IRL in studio and via Peloton (bonus points for those with EDM playlists) - and a dog mom, as well as a lifetime believer in the power of teamwork, which is 100% something we can get behind!

Without further ado, let's learn a bit more about Cara, shall we?

Where do you live?

I live in the Cole neighborhood of Denver! It's a nice five minute bike ride from my house to OXB.

What is your “day job”?

My day job is all things OXB. My technical title is Production Manager. I basically oversee all production for OXB.

What does a day in your life look like?

My alarm goes off at 5:45am and I let my bulldog and my great dane out. I meditate. I then usually do a 45 minute Peloton ride. My go-to ride is an EDM ride by Hannah Frankson. I shower and head into work around 8am. Every day is different at OXB. We currently have a production team of 4 including myself. We make all the jewelry in house. It can range from putting together a bolt charm necklace, to soldering a cigar band. I usually head home around 6 and have dinner with my fiancé and snuggle with my pups on the couch.

What has been your proudest moment to date?

My proudest moment to date will be July 15th which marks 2 years sober.

What are your favorite ways to sweat?

My favorite ways to sweat are with my friends. I love to ride front row with my crew at any High Ride or Soul Cycle class!

What are your preferred workout clothing brands?

My favorite workout clothing brands are Lululemon, Girlfriend, Year of Ours, Alo, and OXB obviously!

What are your favorite go-to pre- and post-workout meals or snacks?

Pre-workout, I love BeetElite by HumanN. Post-workout, I love a good peanut butter ball.

How do you show yourself self care?

I show myself self care in various ways. My daily meditations and workouts are definitely a form of self care. I also love to get pedicures and acupuncture.

What’s something you're looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to learning and growing with OXB. I never imagined doing something like this as my career and now I can’t see myself anywhere else.

What’s your favorite OXB piece to sweat in?

Honestly, my favorite OXB pieces to sweat in are my Gold-Filled Curb Chain (15”) and my Sterling Silver Lariat.

What’s one of the most important lessons (big or small!) you’ve learned from playing sports, being a part of a team, or your own personal fitness journey?

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from growing up playing on a competitive soccer team is the importance of camaraderie and teamwork. Individually, people can be very skilled or talented but it is truly amazing what a group of people can come together and accomplish. It is imperative to utilize people's strengths and communicate. Also, most importantly everyone needs to have a little fun doing what they are doing.
