We’ve teamed up with Bold and our Ambassador Team to provide $10,000 in college scholarships.
Bold.org is a platform that makes it easy to set up scholarships. Remember going to your guidance counselor to get a list of scholarships you might be eligible for? Not anymore. Now getting money for college is more accessible than ever.
Our $1500 OXB #teamsports scholarship took us about 10 minutes to set up, the team at Bold is knowledgeable and helped us streamline. The best part? We are in control of our own scholarship; we set the guidelines, essay prompts, and we get to pick the winner. Oh, and it’s free for donors to set up a scholarship and free for the applicants.
This past Giving Tuesday we announced our $10,000 in scholarships in partnership with 10 of our ambassadors, all bringing personal stories and a fresh perspective on the scholarships they were about to create. Over the past 2 months they have been working hard on developing their scholarships. We’re so proud (excited, happy, elated) that the scholarships are now LIVE.

First-generation college students often do not have the money or resources to realize their full potential impact, and firstborn first-generation students have it that much more difficult.
The first child in a first-generation migrant household usually experiences a unique childhood filled with many trials and errors, experiments, changes, risks, and a lack of resources within their family. These tribulations can affect students in the educational and social realms of their lives quite detrimentally.
The First-Generation, First Child Scholarship will assist first-generation firstborn students at all levels of education in any field of study to achieve their academic ambitions.

Leaders in STEM are more essential now than ever.
While there are many types of experts across many of the technological fields, we need more incentives for budding STEM professionals to continue research, harness leadership skills, and inspire innovation to propel our country toward our technological, medical, and developmental goals.
As one small part of this, the Rosemarie STEM Scholarship will help one ambitious student harness their full potential as a STEM professional to change the world for the better.
The scholarship is open to all students who are planning to pursue or who are currently pursuing a degree in any STEM-related field.

Educators are vital to the success of upcoming generations and the progression of the human race.
In all sectors, educators are needed to foster an inclusive environment for students both young and old that also manifests a deep love for learning, lasting throughout their lifetime.
In public school education, the educator workforce is staggeringly homogenous, as 82 percent of teachers in that sector are white, even though the student distribution within public schools nationally is almost an even split between white students and minority students.
It’s essential for educators to have backgrounds often left out of the history books to truly unravel the multiple complexities present in all sectors of our world today and to break apart many of the systemic barriers seen in communities of color.
To support the needs of educators who want to fight for a more equitable tomorrow for their students and the world, the BIPOC Educators Scholarship exists and will support one ambitious education major in their studies to become an educator for the future. All BIPOC students who are pursuing or are interested in pursuing a major in education are eligible.

We live in the information era, where technology underpins so much of our daily lives. Technology influences the way we communicate, learn, and entertain. And it has an increasing influence on key issues like the economy, foreign policy, privacy, healthcare, and more.
In order to solve complex problems of the future, the US needs more women entering the science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Gender diversity introduces new perspectives and helps improve the STEM talent pool.
Since women make up nearly half of the US labor market but only 28% of the STEM workforce is female, there must be significant opportunities for women who are looking to kick start their careers in STEM. The gender gap is even higher in some of the fastest-growing and highest-paid tech & engineering jobs.
As a contribution to the solution, the Boosting Women in STEM Scholarship exists to encourage ambitious women in STEM to continue their pursuit of a STEM degree toward a brighter future.

Minorities have had a significant impact on the art world for decades. Now, in the wake of social injustice, it’s critical to support their creative ambitions toward a more opportunistic future.
To support minority art students in their creative ambitions beyond the classroom, the Minority Student Art Scholarship will be awarded to one student from a minority background who has big aspirations for their artistic career.
This scholarship is open to all minority students who are interested in, already enrolled in, or are recent graduates who took courses going toward a degree in the arts.

Self-love and acceptance are critical to a full life, but unfortunately, with many existing forms of homophobia today, it can be extremely difficult for those in the LGBTQ+ community.
With social media being so accessible today, we are more connected than ever. That doesn’t always mean it’s for the better, though.
Daily, millions are ridiculed and belittled because of their identity, their beliefs, or how they may express themselves. Seeing that LGBTQ youth are almost five times as likely to have attempted suicide compared to heterosexual youth, there must be significant social change to combat the hateful rhetoric against their community and to encourage LGBTQ+ youth to love themselves for who they are.
To contribute to necessary social reparations, The Unicorn Scholarship exists to support LGBTQ+ students in their journey toward self-love and acceptance. This scholarship is open to all undergraduate students who identify as LGBTQ+.

The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the entire world. Despite representing 5% of the global population, the country has 25% of the world’s prisoners.
In the 1970s, there were 340,000 million Americans incarcerated. Today, there are over 2 million. Unfortunately, this increase in the prison population was not distributed evenly. African Americans are incarcerated in state prisons at 5x the rate of white people, making up 40% of the prison population, despite representing only 13% of the wider population. Similarly, Hispanic people are twice as likely as white people to be incarcerated, per capita.
The effects of incarceration extend beyond the jail cell. Among many hidden consequences is the impact of incarceration on dependent children, including their emotional, physical, educational, and financial well-being. For example, children with incarcerated parents are 6x more likely to get incarcerated.
This cycle does not need to continue. The Incarceration Impact Scholarship exists to support those disproportionately affected by incarceration in the US and is open to Black or Latinx students from low-income households with an incarcerated parent or legal guardian.

As one small part of supporting the importance of art in the LGBTQ+ community, LGBTQIA Arts and Personal Development Scholarship exists to support an LGBTQ+ student who is incredibly passionate about their artwork and is looking to pursue a career in the arts, beauty, or personal development.

Talent is often evenly distributed, but opportunity is not.
Inequality of opportunity in America adversely impacts the Black community in many different realms, particularly with educational opportunities. Opportunities to thrive in education can be exceptionally scarce, and education is one of the most powerful determinants of access to greater career opportunities.
Currently, the college retention rate for Black students is 52.1% compared to the national college retention rate of 76%. Black students, particularly those of low-income areas, face additional obstacles that can prevent them from enrolling or completing their degree programs. Black students must be supported and encouraged to obtain higher education in order to combat the repressive barriers that face our community.
As a step in the right direction for change, the Future Black Leaders Scholarship will be awarded to one Black undergraduate student who has large ambitions for their college and working careers.
