Here's what you need to know before you get sweaty. Our jewelry is made with high quality and hypoallergenic metals that withstand everyday wear. Our gold and silver will not fade, chip or rub off. We do not plate any of our jewelry.
14k Gold Filled: Gold filled metal is a layer of solid gold pressure bonded to a base metal, which may vary from product to product. However, the gold metal is a barrier over the base metal -- making it hypoallergenic and tarnish proof.
We use 14k gold filled because it upholds its gold-qualities at a fraction of the cost of solid gold and extends the life beyond gold plated products.
Unlike gold plating, the gold will not rub off from everyday wear. When properly cared for, your gold filled pieces will last 10+ years.
All components are also gold filled.
Sterling Silver: Sterling silver is great for everyday wear and polishes easily. Unlike silver plating, the silver will not rub or wear off in time.
Sterling silver is an alloyed metal, normally made of 92.5% pure silver and other metals. Sterling silver is a popular metal because of its affordability and malleability, but it also tarnishes quickly because of its composition.
If you’re looking at a piece of jewelry that is darkened or appears dirty, then your silver has tarnished; but, there’s no need to neglect this piece or get rid of it!
Tarnish is simply the result of a chemical reaction with oxygen or sulfur particles in the air. With a few easy-to-follow tips, you can take care of your sterling silver jewelry and make it last for years to come!

Disclaimer: It's a beautiful thing that we are all unique, and sometimes our body chemistry affects which metals we are sensitive to. Generally gold filled metals are a great option for wearers with metal sensitivities. Although rare, some people may experience a reaction with their gold filled jewelry. This is due to the composition of your body chemistry from varying hormone levels, medications, and sweat acidity. We are always happy to answer questions about our metals.
